Adulthood...

My sister Tayler and cousin Adam both turned 18! I can't believe they are adults. Seems like only yesterday they were 3 years old playing beauty salon, which was really Tayler forcing Adam to sit still while she shave his hair off. Now they are both off to college, it's just crazy!

We had a party for them at my Grandma's house, my camera died so I never actually got a good pic of just them...but here are the rest of us!

My Aunt Denise, Aunt Karisa, Baby Ali, and I
The cousins...Paul, Caleb, Ali, Jake

Aww, and don't forget about the most precious of all...

Viva Las Vegas! (Sorry, Picture overload!)

Vegas Baby! Kev, Wes, Meg, and I went to Las Vegas last weekend! We had SO MUCH FUN! We stayed at the Venetian, it was the most beautiful hotel! Our first morning out and about:

Gondola Ride, very romantic!

You never know when it might rain?

We ran into a lot of celebrities in Vegas, guess it was just the place to be!
Here's me and Nicholas Cage

Kevin moon walking with the astronauts...
Me and Shaq going head to head
Wes and Michael
Me and Tim
Kevin and StevieBen, Me, and George chillin back in time
Meg and George Clooney

We even made it out to the golf course and got to hang with Tiger. Wes was given Tiger some tips...
Twins...

Okay, okay, so we really didn't meet any REAL celebrities...but we sure had fun at the Wax Museum!!!
Saturday night we ate dinner at Emeril Lagasse's restaurant "Delmonico". It was fabulous!

After dinner Kevin and I went to a cirque du soleil show "O", a water show at the Belagio. The show was absolutely fantastic, and our seats could not have been better, center stage almost close enough to get splashed on! Anyone planning on going to Vegas I definitely recommend this show, it is a must see!

Family, Friends, Fireworks!!!

Although we don't make it up to Heber as much as we would like to, no matter what, we ALWAYS come up for 4th of July! It's so great to spend time with family, enjoy the parade, park, and fireworks, and the greatest part of all....the weather!!! It was so wonderful to get out of the heat!

Our day started off with an amazing breakfast cooked by Megan, and then we were off to watch the parade! It was as good as always!

After a day of playing, eating, and napping we went over to the high school to watch the fireworks! Of course we got there a few hours early so we could get a good spot on the field...So I took some pics to pass the time:

Meg and Wes

The Girly Girl's

We met everyone over at Bison Ranch to celebrate Lee Heisters Birthday! It's just the best being able to spend time with friends you aren't able to see as much as you'd like. Here is Meg, Hanna, and Me...
Here are our boys: Wes, Mike, Kev

Good old Coach! We have SO many memories with Renell...I think all of my great high school memories revolve around volleyball! Trips, games, and friends!

It was such a great weekend, see you next year!

Dear Tayler,

Congratulation's Graduate! I first want to say how proud I am of you. You have worked so hard these past four years to be an exceptional student, and an incredible athlete. It's amazing watching you grow up and turn into this beautiful young woman. I always thought you would be just like me...was I wrong or what? I don't think we could be more opposite if we tried. I pray that you stay independent, a leader, strong willed, dedicated, and beautiful on the inside as you are you out, as these are the things that I admire most about you. I know that you will be successful in everything you do. This past year we have had a lot of sadness, heartache, and disappointments in our lives, and now our family is changed forever. I will always be here for you...I am and will always remain your friend, your big sis, I am your biggest fan. I love you more than anything.

Love Always,

Corie

Try to keep busy...

Thursday Kevin and his Dad flew to Ohio to visit with family and he doesn't get home till Monday evening...So I knew I needed to keep myself really busy so I didn't just sit around and wait for Monday to come. Friday and Saturday my Mom, and her friends Aurora and Annette, and I did a girls weekend at the J W Marriott at Desert Ridge. We had so much fun relaxing by the amazing pool...and of course shopping! Sunday, my mom and I headed up to Roosevelt Lake. Waiting for us was my Dad and my sisters!!! Family fun at the lake!

Having fun in the sun!

I found out something new about my mom this weekend...She rocks at knee boarding! She just went out there got up the first try, and then started doing 360's!!! She was spinning and jumping all over the place...and I couldn't even get up!!! haha

Captain Dad

Tayler and I were giving my Dad a hard time saying he couldn't knock us off the tube...BAD IDEA! He was whipping us around like CRAZY! I flew so high out of that tube. I think I did a flip in the air and 2 more under the water...I learned my lesson, lol.

Alex taking a little break

Mike, Annette, and Alex having fun. It was so nice to spend time with my family. They got me through my weekend without Kevin, I guess that is what family is for...Now I just have to get through tonight!!!
