My little sister was with my Grandparents for the weekend so my mom and I decided to have a girls night out just the two of us. We went to the Ocean Club in Scottsdale. It was really nice and the food was amazing! We had such a great time!!!!!
This year for Christmas shopping we decided to spice things up a bit. So Connie, Sarah, Megan, and I packed up the Honda and headed to Palm Springs, CA. We literally shopped till we dropped! We had so much fun and found the best deals! We got there on Friday shopped a little bit and headed to this cute little Mexican restaurant by our hotel. They had awesome food, and we even got serenaded through most of our meal....Although we couldn't understand what they were singing we still tried to sing along.

It was our last day shopping and we wanted to get some pictures of the 4 of us, so this is us testing the timer on Megan's camera because none of us were really sure how it worked!
Ok, after MANY trial and error, we finally got a good picture of all of us.
Well it's kinda late, but I hope everyone had an wonderful Christmas! Kevin was working Christmas Eve, so I met up with my Dad and did some shopping, then headed to Fountain Hills to see my Mom and Sisters and open gifts. Christmas morning we slept in, then I made a big Christmas breakfast and we opened up our gifts from each other. After that we headed over to the Camp's house to celebrate Christmas with Kev's whole family! Connie and Dave made us an AMAZING Christmas dinner! It was so good to see Aunt's, Uncle's, and Cousin's that live out of state!!! Here are some of us girls: Kara, Meg, Me, Sarah, and little Lucinda! Kev and I got some awesome gifts from both our parents! Thanks Mom's and Dad's for everything!!!!

There! All framed and textured ready to be painted, I love having my own handy man!!! Next we wanted to paint the room...Here is Kev getting the hard to reach spots...I WAS NOT about to climb up there!
So here is the color we chose...looks very blue in the picture, but is actually like a greenish blue...So we got most of the painting done but are not quite done all the way. I'll post the finished product when we are finished!!! Also I need to give a shout out to Meg! Thanks for coming and helping us paint! Oh and also running to costco! hehe

For Thanksgiving we went to Kevin's Aunt Kris and Uncle Brad's house, we had an awesome time spending time with family and eating amazing food! Speaking of food, here are my dishes I brought to dinner my very first green bean casserole, and my awesome awesome olive cheese bread. Well I can't exactly call it mine...I got it from www.thepioneerwoman.com she has amazing recipes!

So Friday Connie, Megan, Sarah, and I went to see Twilight! I have heard people have had mixed feelings on the movie, but I have to say I loved it! It was exactly what I pictured in my head, all the characters were perfect. I would even go see it again! The only bad thing now is we have a long wait for the second movie to come out! Dang, aww well....I encourage everyone who hasn't seen it to go, especially if you read all the books. I want to know what everyone else thought!
When we moved, we left our washer and dryer in our old house for the renter's to use. So that means we have been without a washer and dryer for a week! It took us a while because we weren't sure what kind we wanted, but last night we installed our new washer and dryer! Thank goodness, if we waited any longer to get them I would have been hauling clothes over to Megan and Wes's house! lol...Anyways my favorite thing about them is when they are done they play a fun little song. Kevin makes fun of me when I dance along with the music! lol
